Description

Bynav high-precision positioning unit is an automotive-grade ASIL-B GNSS/INS receiver based on bynav-developed GNSS ASIC and IMU, it supports dual-antenna RTK positioning and heading and deeply-coupled GNSS/INS algorithm and can effectively tackle with harsh environment such as satellite signal interference or loss, providing stable, continuous, reliable high-precision position and attitude.

Unique advantages

Bynav-developed high-precision GNSS ASIC as a typical application of BeiDou high-precision positioning in intelligent vehicles.

With tens of millions of kilometers mileage in automotive area and years of dedicated research&development, Bynav has finished the design and massive production of baseband ASIC, broadband radio frequency ASIC as well as GNSS SoC. In many tests held by clients or third-parties, bynav high precision positioning unit for autonomous driving have shown world-class performance based on the self-developed ASICs.

Deeply-coupled GNSS/INS algorithm to effectively improve positioning accuracy and reliability.

The deeply-coupled GNSS/INS algorithm uses the data from IMU together with integrated navigation system to facilitate RTK ambiguity solution and signal tracking, which effectively improves the positioning accuracy and reliability. The harsh scenarios such as city canyons and overpasses have witnessed accuracy and stability of deeply-coupled algorithm 4-5 times as good as loosely-coupled algorithm's. In addition, the deeply-coupled algorithm can detect the deceptive signals in an effective way and protect the unit from such interference.

Meeting the requirement of functional safety.

Bynav managed to achieve certifications of German Rheinland ISO26262 Functional safety and IATF16949, and is also implementing ASPICE. As for relevant products, AEC-Q100, CE, FCC, RoHS and SGS have all been attained. Based on the fully automated production line, the production capacity can reach 500,000 sets/year, and can be rapidly expanded to 7,000,000 sets/year.

Application

Bynav high-precision positioning unit for autonomous driving is built for on-board scenarios of automated driving and driver assistance, offering stable and reliable high precision positioning results for intelligent vehicles. Currently bynav has been nominated by multiple top-ranked domestic automotive OEMs as supplier for  various vehicle models for mass production. In 2023, there will be multiple new vehicle models equipped with Bynav high-precision  positioning unit entering the market.

Prospect

Bynav will launch the high-precision positioning ASIC with higher performance, more advanced technology and lower consumption. Also, we will continuously optimize the deeply-coupled GNSS/INS algorithm and provide high-precision position and navigation results for more domestic and foreign new smart car models with the ultimate performance, in order to bring better experience in intelligent navigation and driving for more global car consumers.
