World Premier|NeuSAR Release its AUTOSAR AP R21-11 version and Toolchain Upgrade

Targeting the next-generation intelligent connected vehicle basic software platform market, Neusoft Reach just released its upgraded NeuSAR aCore product to the latest AUTOSAR Adaptive platform specification -- AUTOSAR R21-11 version, remarkably as the first basic software supplier to release its official product in the world to support R21-11 version. It will be a strong fundamental support to OEMs’ next-generation domain controller architecture, assisting developers to achieve innovative iterations of various advanced features and highly value-added vehicle functions.

AUTOSAR AP platform usage has also increased significantly as OEMs introduce the new domain controller architecture in the upcoming production programs. Compared to the previous version, AUTOSAR AP R21-11 offers significant improvements in product stability, security, and availability. In the face of the heterogeneous core architecture of the domain controllers, the integration and collaboration between AP, CP (Classic AutoSAR), and non-AUTOSAR platforms are enhanced to better support the development of domain controller architecture.

As a key part of the NeuSAR product family, NeuSAR aCore products continue to be upgraded and iterated, leading the industry in adapting new standards. NeuSAR aCore R21-11 reflects all functional upgrade of the AUTOSAR R21-11 standard, improves the stability of the module for abnormal scenarios, and provides more support for data types, network security mechanisms, and platform health management monitoring mechanisms.

Improve the security features of the modules

Stability

Add features for system stability

Ø  Add configuration process error codes in EM, add undefined status to function groups, and add processing for unexpected process termination

Ø  The monitoring of deterministic execution added in PHM, and the fault tolerance mechanism added in UCM

NeuSAR aCore provides the "seamless update" function to ensure the compatibility of the upgraded version with the old version. Through the NeuSAR tool chain, the configuration of the old version (arxml format) and the project can be smoothly upgraded to the R21-11 version.

NeuSAR IDE:More efficient development tool chain

Along with the upgraded NeuSAR aCore to the AUTOSAR AP R21-11 version, NeuSAR tool chain has been fully upgraded and a new product-NeuSAR IDE has been launched.

The traditional basic software tool chain only contains configuration function, and since the configuration generated basic software-related code and application layer framework cannot cover the complete development process, the developers need to use other tools to complete the application layer of code, compile chain file editing, compiling, debugging, code library synchronization, and other functions, which lead to issues such as low efficiency, difficult to support efficient collaboration.

In order to solve these problems, NeuSAR IDE integrates a number of development functions based on the original AP configuration and framework code generation functions, including code editor, compilation tools, visual debugging tools, code base management, deployment tools, resources, monitoring tools, etc., to help developers in their domain controller project through a complete set of tools for the whole development process operation, reducing tool switching and improving development efficiency.
