The solution integrates the leading software algorithm of QCraft and the high computing power of the Journey 5 chip. It supports point-to-point assisted driving in multiple complex road conditions such as urban, high-speed, and expressways, making driving as easy as taking a taxi, QCraft claimed. The solution is also more suitable with robust mass production capabilities for automakers in China. It is expected for mass production by mid-2023.

Since the partnership kicked off in May this year, QCraft and Horizon Robotics have actively promoted the efficient synergy between software and hardware. Within a few months, the duo has completed the test and development of chips, as well as the deployment and validation of urban NOA in the real vehicle environment.

Horizon Robotics’ Journey 5 is production-ready with over a hundred TOPS of comuting power specially designed for high-level intelligent driving applications.
