IAR Systems partners with NavInfo-backed AutoChips for automotive embedded solutions
Beijing (Gasgoo)- On December 27, leading embedded software company IAR Systems and NavInfo’s subsidiary AutoChips announced their strategic cooperation in the automotive embedded R&D solution field.

IAR Systems' latest release, the IAR Embedded Workbench for Arm 9.32.1, is now fully compatible with AutoChips’ entire automotive-grade MCU chip lineup, helping Chinese automotive developers build powerful embedded development solutions. The duo aims to contribute to the innovation progress of the automotive industry.
Specifically, the IAR Embedded Workbench for Arm provides a comprehensive development tool chain for AutoChips, including highly flexible compiler optimization options and powerful optimization performance. The solution can meet the needs of different users to achieve special optimization for different applications, and can help generate codes that are small and fast, achieving higher efficiency and lower energy consumption for MCU.
IAR Systems also offers a TÜV SÜD certified functional safety edition development toolchain that meets ISO 26262 requirements. The toolchain will enable AutoChips’ first functional safety MCU chip, the AC7840x, to develop functional safety solutions for targeting automotive ECUs modules with high safety levels.
