This development not only provides a better and more popular assisted driving experience, but also helps vehicle manufacturers improve their competitiveness with ultimate cost-effectiveness.
QCraft is committed to improving the cost-effectiveness of "highway + urban" NOA and promoting the technology’s large-scale deployment. At the upcoming Auto China 2023 in Shanghai, QCraft will launch the high-speed NOA version based on the 6V1R vision solution, which can achieve integrated driving and parking, reusing traditional parking sensors to improve hardware utilization and further reduce hardware costs.
Additionally, QCraft plans to introduce a lightweight map mode of the urban NOA solution based on a single Journey 5 chip from Horizon Robotics, which can achieve geometric expansion of NOA application range based on the company’s complete map-free ability. According to QCraft, the solution is able to learn the users’ familiar routes, enabling an even more efficient driving experience.
On the same day, QCraft also initiated a City Tour Plan with Shanghai being the first stop. During the event, the company showcased the actual effects of its NOA solution for the first time. The solution successfully navigated through complex roads in Shanghai, a densely-populated city with over 20 million residents, demonstrating its maturity and stability have reached mass production level.
