Description

PIA independently developed 8 digital industrial software, which is mainly used in the digital manufacturing process, for different business scenarios and needs in automated production, and can be divided into three categories: production management software, production line optimization software and material optimization software. Adopting the organic integration of hardware and software, PIA Industrial Software is installed on its own or third-party intelligent manufacturing equipment, collecting and analyzing data in real time at every node of intelligent manufacturing equipment operation, and outputting analysis results to empower customers to realize important production functions such as production management, quality tracing, material improvement, efficiency optimization, remote collaboration and predictive maintenance, helping enterprises to realize the core of the manufacturing process digitalized.

Unique advantages

Among the 8 industrial digital software independently developed by PIA, the industrial software piaAI, AI-aided decision-making, is installed in the high-end equipment developed and produced by PIA according to the customer's needs, or used for the intelligent enhancement of the customer's production line. The software combines the company's long-accumulated industry experience and uses artificial intelligence algorithms to achieve self-determination and self-optimization of production lines and improve overall production efficiency.The software development and application are still in the primary stage, and in the next step, with the maturity of AI, PIA will increase its R&D investment in this area and apply AI more widely. In the equipment development stage, the application of AI will improve R&D efficiency and reduce labor costs; in empowering customer production, the application of AI will enable continuous production efficiency improvement of production lines, optimization of assembly processes, improvement of assembly materials and realization of flexible manufacturing. Long-term industry experience accumulation, massive design and production data, and already have a series of industrial software and other advantages, is the basis and advantage of the company in the further application of artificial intelligence.

Application

At present, PIA's industrial digital application software has been maturely applied to more than 70% of the company's intelligent manufacturing equipment, enabling SHW's digital factory to reduce production line downtime by 30% and reduce quality costs by 10%-20%; assisting Danfoss' valve body production line to reduce downtime by 12%.  (1) In the BMW 800 volt 3-in-1 mega electric drive project delivered in 2022, PIA's industrial software improved the productivity of the customer's powertrain factory line by 14%;  (2) In 2023, PIA and the local government of Germany jointly implemented a 3-year 5G technology research and digital application project - the high-voltage booster module assembly and final inspection replication line of Porsche's 800V high-voltage charging platform for electric vehicles, equipped with PIA full set of industrial digital softwares, which reached 85% of the expected comprehensive equipment efficiency in the first production optimization stage of the production line, and was evaluated as the best use of 5G technology and industrialdigital software to ultimately achieve one of the best cases of manufacturing cost reduction and efficiency;  (3) In 2023, the industrial digital software piaOptimum (production line beat optimization module) developed by PIA was successfully implemented and installed in the whole production line of Mercedes-Benz electric drive, and achieved the expected 90% of overall equipment efficiency (OEE) in the first production optimization stage of the production line; the production line capacity climbing stage was shortened by several weeks to complete the capacity release requirement in advance, which significantly improved the OEE of the production line by 17%, which greatly saves the customer's labor and other operating costs.

Prospect

Today, China's manufacturing value added accounts for more than 28% of the global share, but according to the data of Wisdom Research Consulting and the World Bank, China's industrial software market size in 2020 is 28.6 billion U.S. dollars, accounting for only 6% of the global scale, much lower than China's manufacturing value added in 2020 accounted for 28% of the global proportion. Industrial software is the crystallization of industrial knowledge accumulated over a long period of time in the process of industrialization, is the development of industrialization along with the emergence of software systems, its development needs to be closely integrated with industrial practice, Junpu intelligence of various "intelligent modules, software systems" are after a long period of industrial practice summed up from the software system. The data released by Soochow Securities shows that the next 3-5 years, the domestic production and execution of industrial software companies related to business revenue growth rate is expected to remain at more than 40% compound.
