Great Wall Motor teams up with CICV for innovation in automobile intelligence

Beijing (Gasgoo)- The Chinese automaker Great Wall Motor officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement with China Intelligent and Connected Vehicles (Beijing) Research Institute (CICV) on July 13, 2023, according to a post on the carmaker's WeChat account.

This partnership aims to foster deep collaboration in areas such as national targets, policy regulations and standards, cutting-edge common technologies, testing and verification, automotive digitalization, automotive ecosystem, and technology commercialization, all contributing to the intelligent development of China's automotive industry.

Having achieved a flat, networked, and decentralized layout in the two major areas of energy and intelligence, Great Wall Motor possesses comprehensive in-house capabilities in key technologies related to intelligent connected vehicles. These include intelligent driving, smart cockpits, and new electronic and electrical architectures. Additionally, the company has made significant progress in forward-looking domains such as low-power, high-computing chips and data intelligent systems.
