Tencent expands operation region for intelligent vehicle cloud

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Chinese Internet giant Tencent recently announced the establishment of a new "Tencent Intelligent Vehicle Cloud North China Region" in Huailai County, Hebei Province.

This upgrade means that Tencent's intelligent vehicle cloud now operates in both the East and North China regions, better supporting the industry's demands during the mass production stage of intelligent driving and ensuring business continuity and data security.

In June 2022, Tencent unveiled its one-stop cloud solution tailored for intelligent vehicles - the Tencent intelligent vehicle cloud, and inaugurated the "Intelligent Vehicle Cloud East China Region" in Shanghai, the first private cloud platform dedicated to autonomous driving and intelligent vehicle technology. With the addition of the Huailai zone, the company can now cater to a wider range of demands during the mass production stage of intelligent driving. 

The intelligent vehicle cloud ensures data security with full-stack and public network isolation throughout the R&D and mass production processes. Additionally, cloud components will be optimized to meet industry-specific needs.

Tencent’s intelligent vehicle cloud integrates a comprehensive range of capabilities, including autonomous driving R&D and operation toolchains, intelligent driving maps, and operational services, providing a one-stop solution to meet the diverse needs of intelligent vehicles, from R&D to operation. This aids customers in reducing architectural complexity and obtaining optimal one-stop solutions.

Currently, Tencent's cloud services have been employed by 100 automotive and mobility technology companies, assisting global leading enterprises such as Mercedes-Benz, NIO, Bosch, and NVIDIA in developing autonomous driving technology in China.
