Rising Auto introduces next-gen AI system via OTA upgrade

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Rising Auto, SAIC Motor's premium electric vehicle brand, is set to roll out its latest-generation AI system to users in the coming days via OTA upgrade. The upgraded system boasts significant advancements including 22 new features, 43 functional experience optimizations, and expanded high-speed navigation coverage to 205 cities.

Thanks to the optimization of algorithms on the Orin chip and an 11% improvement in World Model perception, Rising Auto’s next-gen AI system significantly enhances real-time perception and modeling for the RISING PILOT intelligent driving function. The enhanced RISING PILOT's perception system can now instantaneously recognize and reconstruct nearby vehicles' brake and turn signals, as well as oncoming lane change signals, and even identify and reconstruct signals from vehicles in specific positions.

Moreover, the new-generation AI system excels at accurately recognizing and tracking motorcycles, electric scooters, and other small motorized vehicles in complex signal light and unmarked road scenarios. It also powers RISING PILOT to display more detailed scene reconstructions, including wheels, cones, speed bumps, bollards, and various other traffic participants like bicycles and tricycles.

The new-generation AI system also introduces a Remote Parking Assistant (RPA) function, enabling users to remotely park in, park out, and move the vehicle.

After the system upgrade, Rising Auto users can also enjoy the addition of 4,000 new voice-activated commands, enabling operations such as adjusting seat positions, controlling driving modes, initiating automatic parking, and opening/closing onboard applications, etc.
