SemiDrive, SAIC Volkswagen build joint innovation center in Shanghai
Beijing (Gasgoo)- On August 22, Chinese automotive chip supplier SemiDrive announced the establishment of a joint innovation center with SAIC Volkswagen in Shanghai.

The two companies will facilitate strategic cooperation in chip applications and domain controller development, contributing to the creation of cutting-edge hardware and software solutions for intelligent connected vehicles and pushing the boundaries of new technologies in the smart mobility sector.
In response to the evolving trends in automotive electronic and electrical architecture, SemiDrive and SAIC Volkswagen will focus on innovative exploration and practical application in three core domain control directions, namely, smart cockpit, intelligent driving, and intelligent vehicle control.
The joint innovation center will initiate the development of the next-generation domain controller, combining collaborative efforts to provide the necessary solutions, reference designs, and technological achievements.
