Flagchip, NeuSoft Reach partner on automotive software innovation

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Chinese automotive chip supplier Flagchip and NeuSoft Reach, the automotive software developer, recently announced their strategic collaboration to strengthen software integration and application innovation in the domain of automotive-grade MCUs.

This partnership will help automakers to establish a foundational software development platform for the next-generation E/E (Electrical/Electronic) architecture, enabling efficient and cost-effective implementation of customized and differentiated features for mass production.

As part of this cooperation, NeuSoft Reach has successfully integrated its software development platform NeuSAR, based on AUTOSAR standards, with Flagchip's FC4150 product family. This integration involved adapting MCAL software for Flagchip's development board. Furthermore, NeuSoft Reach's NeuSAR is currently in the process of adapting to Flagchip's FC7300 product family, facilitating automakers in rapidly creating a unified foundational software development platform for domain controllers.

Flagchip stands out as one of the few Chinese manufacturers capable of independently developing multi-application core MCUs with ISO 26262 functional safety ASIL D certification. Its core focus lies in the R&D and sales of high-end automotive controller chips.

In response to the continuous evolution of vehicle E/E architecture, NeuSoft Reach has introduced the openVOC (Vehicle on Chip) open technology framework. It aims to consolidate most intelligent applications onto a single chip, promoting a more open software architecture where any application can access all onboard hardware functionalities through software service interfaces. NeuSAR, NeuSoft Reach's software development platform tailored for next-generation intelligent connected vehicles, is a vital component of the openVOC software architecture. NeuSAR is widely applied in next-generation intelligent vehicles, supporting various applications such as intelligent driver assistance, vehicle scenario intelligence, chassis dynamics, and body control systems.
