AVATR 11 launches HD map-free intelligent navigation assistance feature

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On March 4, AVATR, the premium new energy vehicle brand supported by Changan Automobile, Huawei, and CATL, officially announced the activation of advanced intelligent navigation assistance features for the AVATR 11, which does not rely on HD maps and is available nationwide.

Reportedly, the newly launched intelligent driving feature can be used on all types of roads, including main roads, side roads, and acess roads, spanning urban areas and highways alike.

In addition to this milestone, AVATR also rolled out OTA updates for the AVATR 11, introducing several new functions such as custom parking, Emergency Lane Keeping Assist (ELKA), and more.

The custom parking feature allows the AVATR 11 to automatically select a parking spot even in unmarked areas when the vehicle is in an open space, streamlining parking maneuvers.

Moreover, the ELKA function ensures safety by guiding the vehicle back into the lane in case of deviation, enhancing driving safety and experience.

Furthermore, enhancements in the intelligent driving domain include optimized lane change strategies, lane cruise control logic, and intelligent parking assistance trajectory planning, along with improved accuracy in automatic emergency braking, collectively elevating driving safety and passenger comfort.
