DeepWay, the Baidu-backed company that designs trucks from the ground up to maximize the benefits of electric drivetrains, focuses on developing smart new energy trucks and advancing L4 autonomous driving technologies in long-haul logistics. The vehicles delivered to the Middle East are custom-built to handle the region's unique climate conditions, such as extreme heat and humidity, and meet the demands for frequent point-to-point transportation.
According to DeepWay, the trucks can travel over 400 kilometers on a single charge, fully meeting the operational needs of local customers. The battery’s placement lowers the vehicle’s center of gravity, ensuring stability during high-speed, long-distance journeys, significantly enhancing driving safety. Additionally, the trucks feature an efficient, wide-temperature thermal management system that operates reliably in temperatures exceeding 40°C, protecting battery life and providing rapid cabin cooling, improving driver comfort.
As TruKKer’s first overseas partner, DeepWay sees this collaboration as a key step in its global expansion, beginning in the Middle East and North Africa while maintaining its leadership in the Chinese market.
