NEVC, Freetech establish joint lab for automotive-grade chip
Beijing (Gasgoo)- On March 10, China's National New Energy Vehicle Technology Innovation Center (NEVC) and intelligent driving solution provider Freetech signed a joint laboratory cooperation agreement in Beijing, officially inaugurating a collaborative chip laboratory.

The partnership marks a significant step in deepening cooperation between NEVC and Freetech in the evaluation and application of automotive-grade chips. The two parties will collaborate extensively in areas such as computing and intelligent driving SoC testing methodologies, EMC evaluation research, vehicle domain controller applications, industry standard development, chip validation frameworks, quality management systems, supplier management, and chip selection promotion.
Freetech, as a Chinese Tier 1 supplier, has more than eight years of experience in the industry. Centered around its ODIN intelligent driving digital platform, Freetech offers a full-stack intelligent driving solution based on smart sensors, central computing platforms, intelligent driving algorithms, and data-driven closed-loop services.
As of the end of 2024, Freetech has completed intelligent driving projects for over 200 vehicle models from more than 46 automakers, demonstrating strong mass production capabilities in the intelligent driving sector.
