Under the agreement, Sunwoda EVB will join the Halo OS Steering Committee as an initial member, contributing to the system's technical roadmap and ecosystem development.
Halo OS, initiated and open-sourced by Li Auto, is a full-vehicle operating system platform designed to drive continuous innovation in smart vehicle functions through community collaboration. The steering committee serves as the project's top decision-making body, responsible for governance rules, key technology directions, and ecosystem strategies.
By joining the committee, Sunwoda EVB will take part in project decision-making, technical planning, and ecosystem promotion. The two companies aim to advance R&D and application of core OS technologies, deepen integration of the supply chain and vehicle manufacturing, and deliver an open, secure, and sustainable software foundation for intelligent vehicles.
Looking ahead, Sunwoda EVB and Li Auto plan to leverage the Halo OS community to explore breakthroughs in safety, real-time performance, and scalability. The partnership is expected to promote collaborative growth across China’s smart vehicle industry chain and strengthen its global competitiveness.
