Summary: US President Elect Donald Trump’s automobile collection

With the election results in and real estate tycoon Donald Trump being declared 45th president of the United States, it is a good time to look back at the automobiles he has owned over the years.

Early on Trump had an eye for Rolls-Royce (pictured above). He was seen with a 1956 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud in his early years. Rolls-Royce is known for the hand-tailored personalization of each of its vehicles. According to sources, Trump’s Rolls-Royce was decked out with several customized features. The 1956 Silver Cloud measures 5.38 m long, 1.89 m wide and 1.62 m tall. It is powered by a 4.9 L I6 engine outputting 155 hp mated to a four-speed gearbox; this powertrain propels the Silver Cloud to 100 km/h in 13.5 seconds, with a max speed of 165 km/h. The Silver Cloud consumes 19.5 L of fuel every 100 km, which is not high at all for the time. A total of 2,238 Silver Clouds were sold between 1955 and 1958.

Trump later bought a Rolls-Royce Phantom (pictured above). This model has seen little changes from 2003. It is powered by a 6.75 L V12 engine outputting 453 hp. This Phantom actually showed up in Trump’s HBO show The Apprentice.

Trump also owns several sports cars, including the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren (pictured above). This vehicle, which originally debuted at the 1999 Detroit Auto Show, is a collaboration between Mercedes-Benz and F1 team McLaren. Its hand-crafted all-aluminum 5.4 L turbocharged V8 engine mated to a 5-speed gearbox. A total of 1,789 SLRs were manufactured between 2003 and 2010, with only a portion of those destined for the US.

Trump also owns a special edition Chevrolet Camaro SS based on the model that served the Indianapolis 500 pace car (pictured above). Painted in eye-catching white and red livery, the special edition Camaro is powered by a 6.2 L V6 engine capable of outputting  426 hp.

Outside of automobiles, Trump also owns several other vehicles including a custom edition Orange County Chopper finished in 24K gold (pictured above) and a Boeing 757 (pictured below).
