August, 2025 auto sales ranking by Joint Venture's brands

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of VW amounted to 159,586 units, up 1.14% year on year, the first on August, 2025 auto sales ranking by Joint Venture's brands, according to the August sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of Toyota amounted to 122,408 units, down 6.05% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 931,700 units. August sales of Tesla reached 83,192 units, decreasing 4.04% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 515,552 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
