JMC New Energy will obtain Blade Electric Passenger Vehicles Production License

Shanghai (Gasgoo)-The changing information list for newly-added auto companies released by MIIT on September 15th shows that JMC New Energy enters into the list and will obtain Blade Electric Passenger Vehicles production license.

JMC New Energy’s Blade Electric Passenger Vehicles project was approved by NDRC on December 23th, 2016, becoming the 7th company obtaining the investment certificate. According to certificate information, the project with a total investment of RMB 1.325b will have an annual capacity of 50,000 units. The project includes construction on new welding shops, paint shops, assembly shops, battery compartments, vehicle test and trial shops and R&D buildings.

Till now, a total of 15 companies have got production certificates from MIIT, including BAIC BJEV, Changjiang Auto, Qiantu Motor, Chery New Energy, Minan Motor, Wanxiang Group, JMC New Energy, Chongqing Jinkang, NEVS, Yudo Auto, ZD Auto, SDEV, Hozon Auto, Greenwheel and JAC Volkswagen.
