NDRC likely to formulate new regulation to complete supportive policy on EV battery charging and swapping price

Shanghai (Gasgoo)-It is revealed that National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) recently released the Opinion on Comprehensively Deepening the Reform of Price Mechanisms (hereinafter referred to as the Opinion) to complete the supportive policy on EV battery charging and swapping price, standardize the service fee for battery charging and swapping, aiming to promote a wider utilization of NEVs.

As is known, On July, 2014, NDRC released the Circular on Issues Related to the Policy on Price of Electricity Used by EVs (hereinafter referred to as the Circular) to promote the popularization and application of electric vehicles via price leverage. The Circular also provided some supportive policies of electricity price for EV charging and swapping infrastructure and conducted a government-guided price on the service fee of EV charging and swapping. 

Aiming to complete supportive policy on battery charging and swapping price and standardize the service fee for battery charging and swapping, the newly-released Opinion is likely to adjust and complete the Circular issued in 2014.
