GAC Group, iFLYTEK sign strategic cooperation agreement to forge innovation of auto+internet

Shanghai (Gasgoo)-GAC Group released an announcement on the night of Dec.7, saying that they signed a strategic cooperation agreement with iFLYTEK. According to the agreement, they will regard each other as important customer, and make a promise that one party will have the priority to use the other's products and services in accordance with each company's procedures on an equal footing. 

What's more, they will cooperate in such areas as intelligent human-computer interaction technology, on-board intelligent and AI technology, big data analysis, intelligent connected vehicle platform, intelligent customer service and marketing innovation, etc. The agreement shall be valid for 5 years.

According to the announcement, both GAC Group and iFLYTEK believe that intelligent voice interaction is a core technology to realize Intellectualization and play an important role in intelligent vehicle sector. Based on iFLYTEK's existing and future intelligent voice technology, they will jointly research and plan to use the scenario and integrated application of the technology in vehicles. In addition, both parties will jointly develop on-board terminal products and application platform on the basis of intelligent voice technology.

GAC Group stated that the cooperation is beneficial for its further development in intelligent connected area. Zeng Qinghong, President of GAC Group pointed that car manufacturers and technology companies should cooperate each other so that can achieve a win-win situation in the future. Zeng Qinghong also added that with the intelligent-connected new energy vehicle sector growing mature, autonomous driving and green and sharing mobility will continue to improve transportation efficiency and people's travelling experience.
