New GAC Trumpchi GE3 to hit the market in August with range of 400km

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- The new GAC Trumpchi GE3 will reportedly hit the market in August, 2018. The new model is expected to have a maximum range of 400km. 

The GE3 is GAC Trumpchi's first pure electric subcompact SUV. Adopting the low-poly design language, fashionable triangular elements and two different colors, the model looks simple, stylish and youthful. What's more, the model boasts high recognition thanks to Trumpchi family's design language of flying wings on its front end and sharp-designed headlights. 

The GE3 features a traditionally-designed interior. Different from its appearance, the new model adopts a design style, which features a variety of rectangles with rounded corners. Thanks to two LCD screens, the interior feels futuristic.

The model measures a length of 4346mm, a width 1825mm and a height 1637mm. Its wheelbase measures 2560mm. It is powered by an electric motor dubbed TZ220XSA5H01, delivering a maximum power output of 132kW and a peak torque of 290Nm. In the future, the battery capacity will be further improved.
