Trial operation of Guizhou Geely NEV production line kicks off
Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Recently, Guizhou Geely NEV Co. Ltd. (Guizhou Geely NEV), located in Guanshanhu Area, Guiyang, Guizhou province, started the trial operation of its production line.
As is known, Guizhou Geely NEV Co. Ltd. is Zhejiang Geely Holding Group's strategic vehicle manufacturing base which aims to support the development of central and western regions in China. Besides, the base also plays a crucial role in the group's strategic plans and will become one of Geely's main manufacturing bases for NEVs.
The manufacturing base of Guizhou Geely NEV will manufacture such NEVs as methanol-powered vehicles, traditional power based on CV platform and pure electric vehicles. The platform can realize the mixed production for five models simultaneously, helping the base to achieve an annual production capacity of 300,000 units gradually.
Establishing a manufacturing base in Guizhou will not only help boost the development of Guizhou and its surrounding areas, but also facilitate Geely to expand its presence and enhance its sales and dealership network in these areas.
