BAIC BJEV to show off EU5 at Auto China 2018

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- The BAIC BJEV EU5's official photos were released recently. Positioned as a compact pure electric vehicle, the model looks very stylish and dynamic and features a more premium interior. It is said that the model will be showcased at Auto China 2018.

Compared with the former EU Series, the EU5 has large modifications in appearance. The new model adopts closed intake grille with silver chrome trims pulling through the front end. The model looks sporty thanks to the exaggerated C-shaped trims at the lower part of the front end. It also boasts a design of double waistlines. In terms of its size, the EU5 measures 4,650mm in length, 1,820mm in width and 1,510mm in height and sets on a wheelbase of 2,670mm.

In addition, the new model inherits BAIC BJEV's iconic design style in interior with dark and light black color. Interspersed by chrome adornments, the model's interior also features a floated large screen at its center console.

As to the powertrain, the new model is driven by pure electric power. It is powered by an electric motor with a maximum power output of 218hp. What's more, the maximum range of the model is expected to be between 400km and 500km.
