NIO opens seventh NIO House in Shanghai Tower

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On July 28, NIO officially opened its seventh NIO House in Shanghai Tower, which is more simply-designed and beautiful than the NIO House in Oriental Plaza, Beijing and is considered as the NIO House that most perfectly conveys NIO's concept.  

During the opening day, William Li, CEO and founder of NIO exposed various information about NIO. He said that NIO's model products are reliable in terms of safety, basic functions and other aspects, adding that NIO will stick to a high standard for its product quality.

As to the yet to be solved problem, William Li revealed that customers speak highly of NIO models and its services, but urge NIO to update the software onboard its vehicles. NIO now is capable of upgrading its in-vehicle infotainment system once a week. In the future, William Li hoped that NIO can upgrade its software every three days, in terms of must-to-be-resolved issues.

William Li said that NIO targets to be a major luxury vehicle brand, which not only boasts high-performance models, but also offers premium services and excellent experience.

The first NIO ES6 rolled off the production line in May. William Li said that the ES6 will be manufactured based on the mature manufacturing system in Hefei, but declined to disclose the specified launching time for the model. Moreover, William Li exposed that 1,000-unit ES8 colored black, white and blue will arrive at delivery centers by the end of July. 

According to William Li, NIO is a fledgling startup that still stays at its investment stage, which is a period that cost money but can hardly earn profits.

Despite Tesla's efforts in building factories in Shanghai, William Li showed his great confidence in NIO models. He stated that NIO not only provides better models than that of Tesla, but also offers better services than Tesla. He also added that many Tesla owners who also bought NIO models said NIO models are better than Tesla's.
