Three senior executives from GAC, BAIC join Faraday Future

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Yuan Zhongrong, former member of director and vice chairman of GAC Group, Gao Jingshen, former vice general manager of GAC Toyota and Lu Hao, former vice general manager of BAIC BJEV Sales Company have confirmed to join Evergrande Faraday Future Intelligent Automotive (China) Group (Evergrande FF), which was officially opened on Aug. 14 in Guangzhou.

Yuan Zhongrong joined GAC in 1997 and had taken the posts of chairman of GAC Toyota and vice general manager of GAC. In August, 2017, he resigned from GAC. Now, he acts as president of Evergrande FF.

Gao Jingshen once served as vice general manager of GAC Toyota. He took the post of vice president of LeSEE in 2015. Now, he acted as COO of Evergrande Faraday Future Automotive (China) Group.

Moreover, Lu Hao, former vice general manager of BAIC BJEV Sales Company was also confirmed to join Evergrande FF and will take charge of product marketing business in Evergrande FF.

Evergrande Health Industry Group Limited announced on June 25 that the company has acquired a 100% stake in the Hongkong-based Season Smart Limited (hereinafter referred to as Season Smart) with an investment of HK$6.746 billion. Faraday Future's subsidiary, Ruichi Intelligent Vehicle (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd. founded in Guangzhou, changed its name as Evergrande Faraday Future Intelligent Automotive (Guangdong) Co., Ltd. on July 24. On August 14, Faraday Future (FF) has set up its operating headquarters, Evergrande Faraday Future Intelligent Automotive (China) Co., Ltd, in China with registered capital of $2 billion.

According to the announcement, FF plans to build five R&D and production bases in China over the next decade. Besides, the NEV maker aims to achieve a planned annual capacity of 5 million vehicles after 10 years and will roll out diverse models, such as the FF91 and the FF81, covering premium to entry-level segments for the global auto market, to build an internet-based intelligent mobility ecosystem.
