Leapmotor signs strategic cooperation agreement with EV Power

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Leapmotor recently signed a strategic cooperation agreement with EV Power, a new energy vehicle (NEV) battery charging station operator. In the future, Leapmotor will deepen cooperation with EV Power in charging network operation, vehicle operation and management, e-payment, internet finance and other areas in NEV-related industrial chain, by virtue of its advantages in brand and resource.

It is said that EV Power not only provide battery charging equipment, but also provide battery charging solutions. Till the beginning of 2018, the company had built more than 2,000 battery charging stations and more than 8,000 battery charging piles. What's more, it targets to deploy in 40 provinces and cities to complete construction and operation of 10,000 charging stations and 30,000 charging piles.

Founded in 2015, Leapmotor, a Hangzhou-based Chinese intelligent EV startup, was invested by Dahua Technology and its major founders. Its business range covers model designing, R&D and manufacturing, intelligent driving, electric motor and electric control, development of battery system for intelligent electric vehicles. Besides, Leapmotor also provides solutions to connected vehicles based on cloud computing.
