Tesla cuts vehicle prices in China by 12-26 percent

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- The prices of the Tesla Model S and the Model X will be cut by 12-26 percent in China from November 22nd on, according to Tesla’s statement, which means that the American automaker may absorb more from the tariff caused by the trade frictions between China and the USA.

Tesla said that the Model S 75D will be priced at RMB 782,900, from RMB 887,600 before the adjustment. The price of the Model S 100D has been cut from RMB 1.063 million to RMB 954,600 while that of the Model S P100D will be priced at RMB 1.091 million from RMB 1.473 million.

The price of the Model X 75D will be cut by RMB 113,900 to RMB 861,800 while consumers can buy the Model X 100D at a price of RMB 952,500. The price of the Model X P100D will be cut by 24.4% to RMB 1.19 million.

Besides, the Model 3, whose pre-sale just started recently, will be priced from RMB 540,000 for the dual-motor all-wheel drive version to RMB 595,000 for the performance all-drive version.
