Lynk & Co 05 PHEV hits market with guiding price of 227,700 yuan

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- The PHEV (plug-in hybrid electric vehicle) version of the Lynk & Co 05 compact SUV formally went on sale on May 5 with a guiding price of 227,700 yuan ($35,150). The automaker announced at the same time the car's first owner can enjoy such lifetime rights as free warranty, free roadside assistance, and free data.

The Lynk & Co 05 PHEV gets power through the combined effort of a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine and an electric motor, mated to a hybrid 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The vehicle is capable of a range of 81km on battery power alone thanks to a 17.7kWh battery pack. When the tank is fully refueled and the battery is fully charged, the PHEV will feature a combined range of over 800km.

From the outside, the Lynk & Co 05 PHEV sticks close to the gasoline-powered version. Retaining Lynk & Co's iconic design language, the front looks very recognizable.

The PHEV is 4,592mm long, 1,879mm wide and 1,628mm tall. Its wheelbase spans 2,734mm. It continues to showcase the lower fastback-style roofline, sportier side view, C-pillar strakes, and segmented taillights. The charging port is located at the left front wing.

As of the interior, the Lynk & Co 05 PHEV is armed with a 12.7-inch console-mounted display with a resolution of 1,920*1080p. Its infotainment system embraces such in-car applications as QQMusic, Kuwo Music, and Bilibili. 

Notably, the 05 PHEV is equipped with Bosch's i-Booster electromechanical brake booster and ESP®9.3 hev X control system to enable a high degree of energy recovery.
