Shanghai (Gasgoo)- The C11, the third production model of the Chinese NEV startup Leapmotor, went on sale on Sept. 28. Coming with three trim levels, it is priced between 159,800 yuan ($24,710) and 199,800 yuan ($30,890) after incentives.

The advent of the C11 all-electric SUV marks the beginning of the “Era 2.0” for Leapmotor’s development. The new model will be available for delivery from October this year.

The C11's front inherits the signature design gene of Leapmotor. It looks futuristic with slit-slike headlights, a panoramic sunroof, and “hidden” door handles. Like many other full-electric vehicles in the market, the C11 adopts a closed-off grille. The light strip running across the car’s width makes the rear look pretty spiffy.

The C11 comes with 8 available exterior colors to meet different consumers' demands.

Positioned as a mid-sized SUV, the C11 measures 4,750mm long, 1,905mm wide, and 1,650mm tall, and has a wheelbase spanning 2,930mm. Its drag coefficient stands at 0.282cd.

The interior is highly impressive with the ultra-high definition triple screen design, which consists of a 10.25-inch dashboard, a 12.8-inch console-mounted infotainment screen, and a 10.25-inch screen in front of the front passenger seat.

As for technology essence, the infotainment system acts as a computer with its Qualcomm Snapdragon Digital Cockpit Platform. The core chips for the ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) are almost 100% locally made in China, especially the two Lingxin 01 chips for smart driving were self-developed by Leapmotor.

The new SUV has both rear-wheel (RWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD) functionality. The RWD version churns out 200kW and 360 N·m of peak torque, while the AWD one is good for 400kW and 720 N·m. The 400kW version takes only 4 seconds to go from standstill to 100km/h.

The ranging-top version carries a 90kWh battery pack, which allows the C11 a NEDC range of up to 610km. The smallest battery has a capacity of 76.6 kWh, which is good for 510km.
