Li Auto’s all-electric MPV said to be caught in spy shots
Shanghai (Gasgoo)- A Weibo user today released several spy shots, saying the vehicle spotted out was likely to be Li Auto’s all-electric MPV model.
As the vehicle caught in the photos was heavily camouflaged, it is hard to identify the silhouette of the model’s rear part. However, some features are still evident, such as the greatly inclined A pillar and the long car body.
According to a local media outlet, the mysterious MPV may ride on Li Auto's BEV-dedicated platform, measuring 5,200-5,300mm in length. The yet-to-be-unveiled model will probably be manufactured at Li Auto's factory in Shunyi, Beiing, and hit the market in the second half of 2023.
The report also conjectured that this MPV would carry the Qilin batteries from CATL.

Li Auto is developing two high-voltage platforms for all-electric vehicles, namely, “Whale” and “Shark”. From 2023, the carmaker plans to roll out at least two high-voltage fully electric vehicle models every year.
The company has not announced its plan to build MPVs yet. In late March this year, Li Xiang, founder, CEO, and chairman of Li Auto, responded via his Weibo account that the MPVs were not included in the company's product planning.
