Audi announces dedicated charging station for Chinese market
Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Audi showcased its first all-electric sports flagship model, the Audi RS e-tron GT, at the 5th China International Import Expo ("CIIE"), with the brand's dedicated charging station announced synchronously, according to a post on Audi's WeChat account.
As an important part of Audi's "Vorsprung 2030 China Strategy", the first batch of Audi's dedicated charging stations will be launched in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and other major cities of the world's largest auto market by the end of 2022.

The brand with four rings said the dedicated charging station has a peak charging power of 360kW, with a maximum voltage of 1,000V. Moreover, the charging station is equipped with tailor-made liquid-cooling terminals, which are able to rapidly lower temperature amid the fast-charging process.
Aside from the dedicated charging station, Audi also provides Chinese electric vehicle users with charging solutions that cover both family-use and public fast charging scenarios. To be specific, Audi offers users free wall boxes with professional survey and installation services coming along with. Regarding the public charging business, the Audi App is allowed to access multiple charging service operators in China.
Audi plans to introduce in China a total of six battery electric vehicle (BEV) models by the end of 2022, including the Audi e-tron, e-tron Sportback, RS e-tron GT, Q5 e-tron, Q4 e-tron, and Q2L e-tron. Over the next three years, Audi will develop for the Chinese market five locally-produced premium EV models, including the new-generation intelligent EV model riding on the PPE platform.
