Geely-backed Livan Auto announces 20% YoY jump in Apr. 2023 sales

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Livan Auto, the joint venture between Geely Automobile and Lifan Technology, saw its monthly sales jump 20% year on year to 3,629 units in Apr. 2023, according to the automaker’s press release.

At the Auto Shanghai 2023, which kicked off on Apr. 18, Livan Auto’s all-new model, the Livan 7, made its world’s debut, which is expected to further drive the company’s annual sales.

As the flagship model Livan Automotive launched for 2023, the Livan 7 bears the determination and mission of the company to deeply cultivate the new energy vehicle (NEV) market. In terms of design, the Livan 7 adopts a brand-new design language called "Tian Di Hu" which features a sharp and aggressive front face, a through-type front headlamp with intelligent interactive lighting effects, a sporty coupe-style design, a dynamic sloping rear end with low drag coefficient, and a simple yet elegant side profile that exudes power.

Regarding intelligence features, the Livan 7 is equipped with Geely's self-developed 7nm auto-grade chip, SE1000, which provides strong computing power and makes the in-car system as smooth as popular flagship smartphones, said the automaker. Besides, the 50-inch AR-HUD screen also provides a wider field of view for the driver and passengers. The triple design combination of LiDAR, 4D millimeter-wave radar, and ultrasonic radar not only achieves advanced driving assistance functions but also provides a three-in-one safety protection.

Targeting the B2B market, Livan Automotive has been actively engaging in various forms of cooperation through multiple channels. In the past two months, the automaker partnered with Ordos City to launch the Livan Maple 60S as the first batch of new energy taxis in the region, improving the local consumers’ travel experience and effectively enhancing the operational efficiency of local taxi drivers.

Moreover, the Livan Maple 80V was also selected as one of the first police vehicles in Aksu city.
