SGMW to begin blind pre-order of Baojun Yunduo BEV on July 28

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- SAIC-GM-Wuling ("SGMW") announced on Tuesday that its new compact all-electric sedan, the Baojun Yunduo, will begin blind pre-orders on July 28.

Looking at its exterior, the Baojun Yunduo adopts a fresh and adorable design language, perfectly matching its name "Yunduo" which means "cloud" in Chinese. The front grille features a double-layer progressive design that harmoniously connects with the integrated daytime running lights and rear taillights.

The side profile employs a short front and rear overhang design to provide ample interior space and improved handling. This is reflected in its dimensions, with the Yunduo measuring 4,295/1,850/1,652mm in length, width, and height, while boasting an impressive 2,700mm wheelbase.

Inside the cabin, the Baojun Yunduo features a clean and minimalist design, equipped with an 8.8-inch instrument panel, a palm shift gear selector, and a 15.6-inch central control screen. The latter comes with LingOS 2.0 system and MediaTek MT8666 chip, supporting intelligent voice interaction, seamless navigation, and remote vehicle control via a mobile app.

Moreover, the Yunduo boasts a dual-tone color scheme and exquisite wood grain elements. The design its seats is inspired by the Italian BUBBLE sofa, and each seat undergoes 36 pieces of manual cutting, enhancing both visual aesthetics and passenger comfort.

Under the hood, the Baojun Yunduo is powered by a new and efficient intelligent electric drive system, featuring a three-in-one flat-wire water-cooled motor that integrates the motor, motor controller, and reducer. The electric motor delivers a maximum power of 100 kW and has a maximum rotational speed of 16,000rpm.

In terms of range, the Baojun Yunduo offers two battery options with capacities of 37.9 kWh and 50.6 kWh, providing pure electric ranges of 360km and 460km, respectively. The battery pack utilizes module-free battery technology and a liquid cooling and heating management system. In fast-charging mode, it can be charged from 80% to 30% of battery capacity in just 30 minutes and supports a 220-volt external power interface.
