Beijing (Gasgoo)- The ARCFOX KAOLA, which is designed as an intelligent baby-care electric car, officially kicked off presale at the Chengdu Motor Show. The vehicle, crafted by BAIC Group's premium new energy brand ARCFOX, marks a remarkable stride towards innovative and family-oriented mobility.

With four distinct trim levels, KAOLA is set to revolutionize the family travel experience with a starting pre-sale price ranging from 133,800 yuan to 171,800 yuan.

A standout feature of this vehicle is its meticulously designed cabin space that can be compared to a children’s room, according to the automaker's introduction. The KAOLA employs revolutionary aldehyde-crystalline and adsorption-degradable materials throughout its interior, effectively converting harmful substances like formaldehyde and benzene into harmless compounds, contributing to a healthy and safe environment.

The KAOLA places paramount importance on safety. Collaborating with Chinese child-care giant Goodbaby, it introduces child safety seats designed according to a stringent standard of withstanding impacts at speeds of up to 80 km/h. Furthermore, the vehicle extends the side airbag length to safeguard children's shoulders and necks, increasing the airbag's volume to 37L. A dedicated safety zone for the vehicle’s battery, constructed with hot-formed steel, ensures battery integrity during collisions, underscoring the commitment to high-voltage safety.

The vehicle's design prioritizes ease of access, featuring a panoramic, light-sensitive sliding door with a maximum opening width of 650mm. The cabin interior, spanning 10.7 square meters of baby-safe material, provides exceptional comfort. The versatile second-row space, resembling a lounge, combines with beach-chair-style folding seats, catering to the meticulous care mothers seek. Thoughtful details, including a temperature-adjustable cooling and warming box and a customizable multifunctional tea table, offer ultimate convenience.
