Hongqi releases images of first FMEs-based pure-electric sedan EH7

Beijing (Gasgoo)- FAW Group's premium passenger car brand, Hongqi, recently unveiled the official images of its latest mid-to-large sedan model, the Hongqi EH7, which is also the first pure-electric sedan based on the Hongqi FMEs platform.

Notably, the model may introduce a battery-swappable version and a long-range fast-charging version, boasting a maximum range of up to 800 kilometers, with an expected market launch within 2024.

The EH7 showcases a fresh design language, featuring distinct split LED headlights styled in the shape of the number "7". Equipped with abundant sensors on the front bumper, advanced driver-assistance systems are anticipated.

With concealed door handles to enhance aerodynamics, the EH7 boasts dimensions of 4,980mm long, 1,915mm wide, 1,490mm tall, with a wheelbase of 3,000mm. Its coupe-like appearance is complemented by a short overhang and a long wheelbase, while an A-pillar-mounted facial recognition.

At the rear, the through-type smoked taillight design, featuring wing-shaped internal light sources, enhances recognition. Inside, the EH7 boasts a 6-inch + 15.5-inch curved dual-screen setup, augmented by an AR-HUD system and powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8155 chip, alongside the HAP precision autonomous driving assistance system.

Powertrain options include single and dual-motor variants, delivering maximum outputs of 253kW and 455kW, respectively, with the latter offering all-wheel drive and accelerating from 0-100km/h in just 3.9 seconds.
