Geely-owned LEVC Auto unveils images of first all-electric MPV model

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- LEVC Auto, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Geely Holding, recently released official images of the LEVC L380, its first all-electric MPV model, which is set to hit the market later this year.

This vehicle represents the first high-end all-electric MPV model under the LEVC's Space Oriented Architecture (SOA), codenamed "L380," indicating the company's intention to create a land-based Airbus.

In terms of exterior design, the model's front grille adopts a closed-off design, adopting a robust design language. Additionally, the incorporation of a daytime running light strip that runs across the vehicle's width and inverted-C-shaped light clusters adds a futuristic and stylish touch to the front end, enhancing its recognizability.

On the side profile, the vehicle features straight lines that create a vertically multi-layer sense. As for dimensions, based on previous information declared to China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the vehicle measures 5,316mm in length, 1,998mm in width, and 1,940mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,185mm. The body size is slightly larger than the Li MEGA, while the wheelbase is shorter than the latter's 3,300mm.

At the rear, the new vehicle's design appears more three-dimensional, with the integrated taillight assembly extending towards the sides. The vehicle emblem is also placed beneath the taillights, serving to enhance its distinctiveness.

Reportedly, the new model will offer two seating arrangement options: 6-seater and 8-seater versions. The 6-seater variant will feature storage compartments beneath the rear floor, while the 8-seater variant will include a fourth-row seat that can be stowed beneath the floor.

In terms of powertrain, the new model will be equipped with a single electric motor delivering a maximum power output of 200kW. Regarding the battery, it will be powered by lithium-ion batteries produced by CATL-Geely (Sichuan) Power Battery Co., Ltd.
