Desay SV inaugurates Huinan intelligent factory’s Phase II

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On April 11, Desay SV's Huinan intelligent factory's Phase II officially began operation on April 11, the Chinese automotive electronics solution supplier announced via its WeChat account.

The facility spans 80,000 square meters and features 50 SMT (Surface Mount Technology) production lines, with the capacity to manage the entire production process from SMT to finished goods.

During the launch ceremony, Ling Jianhui, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Desay SV, introduced the Huinan intelligent factory. The combined production area of the factory's both phases reaches 130,000 square meters. With ongoing upgrades to software and hardware, it is poised to meet Desay SV's growing production targets and provide crucial support for its strategic development goals.

Single-piece flow integrated production

In just four months, Desay SV's team established a single-piece flow production line in Phase II of the Huinan intelligent factory, fundamentally altering traditional manufacturing methods.

This single-piece flow line represents a new zenith in digitalization, shortening the production cycle significantly so that it takes just four hours from loading to finished product output, said the compant. It also reduces in-process inventory across various stages, greatly enhancing inventory turnover rates. The latest generation of composite robots replaces manual labor, requiring only two assembly workers and increasing production efficiency by 65%, significantly reducing labor and time costs.

Precise automated goods storage and retrieval

The Huinan factory's Phase II is equipped with such advanced intelligent hardware facilities such automated storage systems, intelligent AGVs (automated guided vehicles), aerial logistics, and smart materials towers. These are precisely controlled by a computerized intelligent system for automated storage and retrieval of goods.

Electronic SOP for digital operations

The Huinan factory's Phase II has introduced electronic SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) that can be quickly searched, accessed, and updated, enhancing work efficiency and promoting energy saving and carbon reduction through paperless operations.

Green production practices fulfilling dual-carbon commitment

The overall design of the Huinan factory's Phase II integrates the concept of green, sustainable development. It employs methods such as compressed air waste heat recovery, an energy smart control system, and an energy storage station, embodying the principle set for the Dual-carbon goals at every production stage and setting a benchmark for green factories.

Flexible production meeting diverse customer demands

Desay SV said it has upgraded its software capabilities and developed its own MES2.0 system, which integrates seamlessly with customer data, enabling truly data-driven production. This enhances the manufacturing system's ability to respond to internal and external changes, fully meeting customers' needs for product diversity and flexible production timelines, and effectively addressing challenges in supply chain stability.
