China's new energy vehicle export volume rises 11.4% YoY in July
According to data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), China exported 103,000 new energy vehicles (NEVs) in July 2024, marking a month-on-month increase of 20.6% and a year-on-year rise of 2.2%. For the first seven months of 2024, the country’s NEV exports totaled 708,000 units, reflecting an 11.4% growth compared to the same period last year.

Volvo Cars' subsidiary, Sixiangjia Financial Leasing (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. ("Sixiangjia"), has successfully signed its first domestic RMB sustainability-linked syndicated loan at Volvo Cars' Asia Pacific headquarters, according to a post on Volvo Cars' WeChat account. The loan, amounting to 650 million yuan, has a term of two years.
State Grid launches first Beijing-located supercharging stations
The State Grid Corporation of China (State Grid) recently launched its first batch of supercharging stations for Beijing city, according to a report from CCTV News channel. These stations boast a maximum single-gun output of 600 kilowatts, with a daily service capacity of up to 700 vehicles.
