Chery Group posts 13% YoY growth in Jan.-Oct. 2025 sales

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Chery Group has released its October 2025 sales report, revealing continued strong momentum. The automaker sold 281,161 vehicles during the month, marking a 3.3% year-on-year jump. Of this total, Chery Automobile Co., Ltd.—the group's core listed company—accounted for 263,466 units, up 2% from a year earlier.

From January through October, Chery Group delivered 2,288,929 vehicles in total, a 13% rise year-on-year and the best performance for the same period in its history.

Chery's multi-brand strategy, cultivated over years of development, continued to show its strength in October. Its five core marques—CHERY, EXEED, JETOUR, iCAR, and LUXEED—cover distinct market segments, collectively driving the group's steady growth.

The CHERY brand remained the cornerstone of the group's performance, selling 169,696 vehicles in October and totaling 1,377,558 units over the first ten months. Supported by a comprehensive product lineup and strong market response, the brand continues to hold its ground in the mainstream passenger vehicle market.

EXEED, Chery's premium brand, recorded sales of 9,494 units in October and 97,445 units year-to-date, reflecting steady gains in both brand influence and customer recognition.

JETOUR delivered another standout performance, selling 59,073 vehicles in October and reaching 518,651 units from January to October. Since its inception, the brand has surpassed a cumulative total of 2 million vehicles sold—one of the fastest milestones achieved among domestic Chinese automakers. Its "Travel+" positioning has struck a chord with modern consumers seeking versatile vehicles for outdoor adventures and family trips, reinforcing its distinctive brand identity and market competitiveness.

Targeting younger consumers, iCAR sold 12,393 vehicles in October, with cumulative sales of 79,023 units in the first ten months. The brand's appeal lies in its youthful design language and cutting-edge intelligent features.

LUXEED, which focuses on the premium intelligent NEV market, also turned in a solid performance. The brand sold 12,810 units in October and 70,587 units year-to-date. With advanced driver's assistance technologies and refined product quality, LUXEED is establishing a firm foothold in the highly competitive premium NEV segment.

Chery's new energy vehicle (NEV) business continued to expand rapidly. In October, the group sold 110,346 NEVs—a 54.7% year-on-year surge and its first time exceeding 110,000 units in a single month. From January to October, NEV sales totaled 697,891 units, up 73.1% year-on-year, ranking among the highest growth rates in the industry.

Chery Group's overseas performance was equally impressive. The company exported 126,434 vehicles in October, up 13% year-on-year, marking the sixth consecutive month of exports exceeding 100,000 units. From January to October, exports reached 1.06 million vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 12.9%, making Chery the fastest Chinese automaker to surpass one-million-unit overseas shipments in a single year.
