Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of VW amounted to 216,734 units, up 4.41% year on year, the first on August, 2014 sales ranking by Joint Venture's brands, according to the August sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of Hyundai amounted to 84,005 units, down 0.06% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 717,144 units. August sales of Toyota reached 73,141 units, increasing 15.65% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 582,452 units.
