Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sales of BYD amounted to 228,087 units, up 99.76% year on year, the first on May, 2023 auto sales ranking by China's brands, according to the May sales data of the China Passenger Car Association. Sales of Chery amounted to 99,433 units, up 61.05% year on year, ranking second on the list while its YTD sales totaled 414,572 units. May sales of Changan reached 94,023 units, increasing 39.44% year on year and ranking third on the list while its YTD sales were 489,335 units. (Note: Data here refers to sales of cars, SUVs and MPVs made and sold in China.)
