The U6 features a hatchback design with an impulse-style interactive light across the back. Its dynamic profile gives the model a drag coefficient of 0.248Cd. The U6 is installed with a 2.1-square-meter dome-style glass roof that is covered with Low-E coating, eliminating 99% of ultraviolet light and 78% of external heat.

The U6 is equipped with a 14.6” center control screen that displays the vehicle’s exterior in 360°. The dashboard on the vehicle is an 8.2” hidden space dashboard that integrates into the air-conditioning outlet. The ambient lights onboard are controlled by AI technology that dances with the rhythms automatically when the music is on. Uniquely, the gear stick on the U6 mimics that of a spaceship.

The U6 is powered by the AI-Cruise intelligent driving system, enabling 22 practical ADAS functions. The model supports AI-Evolution OTA (over-the-air) updates.

As a pure-electric model, the U6 is built on Aiways’ proprietary pure-electric MAS platform, the AI-PT. The innovative sandwich structure battery pack has a higher level of thermal runaway control in the nail penetration test with an endurance time of 18.5 minutes. The batteries on the model is sourced from CATL.
