Seyond passes listing hearing of Hong Kong Stock Exchange
On November 12, the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX) website showed that Seyond Holdings Ltd. ("Seyond"), a provider of image-grade LiDAR solutions, has officially passed its listing hearing, marking a major step toward its public offering.
According to its latest prospectus, Seyond delivered approximately181,000 automotive-grade LiDAR units in the first nine months of 2025, marking a 7.7% year-on-year increase. The company achieved positive gross profit for four consecutive quarters from Q4 2024 to Q3 2025, reflecting effective scale efficiency and refined management that are paving the way toward sustainable profitability.
Seyond's customer base has diversified significantly. Its flagship Falcon LiDAR has achieved cumulative deliveries exceeding 600,000 units, showcasing both top-tier performance and large-scale delivery capability. In addition to deepening its partnership with NIO, Seyond has secured new design wins from three Chinese state-owned automakers and one leading joint venture OEM. These new programs are expected to contribute to revenue starting from late 2025, injecting fresh growth momentum.
IM Motors LS9 range-extended electric SUV hits market starting at 322,800 yuan
On November 12, IM Motors, the premium NEV brand under SAIC Motor, Zhangjiang High-Tech, and Alibaba Group, officially put its latest large six-seat SUV, the LS9, onto the market, offering two variants priced between 322,800 yuan and 352,800 yuan.
Every IM LS9 model comes standard with a 520-line LiDAR unit paired with NVIDIA's Thor chip, delivering up to 300 meters of effective detection range.
Powering the IM LS9 is the high-performance version of IM's "Hengxing" hybrid range extender, pairing a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with an electric motor and a 66 kWh battery pack. The SUV delivers an all-electric CLTC-rated range of 402 km and a combined driving range of up to 1,508 km — positioning it as one of the longest-range extended-hybrid SUVs in China's premium segment.
Unitree Robotics unveils its first wheeled humanoid robot G1-D
On November 13, Chinese robotics company Unitree Robotics announced the launch of a full-stack data collection and training solution for humanoid robots, centered on its new G1-D wheeled humanoid robot.
The G1-D stands between 1,260 mm and 1,680 mm tall and features HD stereo cameras in the head and hands. Available in Standard and Flagship editions, the latter can be optionally equipped with a mobile base capable of speeds up to 1.5 m/s.
The two versions have 17 and 19 degrees of freedom respectively (excluding end effectors), with each arm offering 7 degrees of freedom and a maximum payload of about 3 kg. Its waist joint supports Z ±155° and Y -2.5° to +135° motion, enabling flexible and precise operations for research and industrial applications.
