First model under Chery EXEED brand to make debut on November 1

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- The Chery EXEED TX, the first model under Chery's new vehicle brand the EXEED ( "Xiandao" in Chinese) will make its debut on November 1, according to local media. Based on Chery's M3X platform and positioned as a compact SUV, the new model will hit the market next year.

According to the patent images exposed before, the Chery EXEED TX also adopts Chery's latest design language of "life in motion". Boasting a fashionable and novel exterior design, the protruding front part features a massive black intake grille, which looks like a mouth agape. The upper edge of the intake grille seamlessly connects the sleek headlights on both sides with the logo of “EXEED” in the middle. Besides, silver chrome trims at the lower part augment the uniqueness for the SUV.

The new vehicle features the coupe style from the side profile. It adopts the dual-stage waistlines and the upward-sloping lines below windows that create a visual effect of running. At the rear end, the eye-catching pulling-through taillights respond to the headlights and the label of “TX” and the Chinese character of "Xiandao" on both sides present the name of the model.

Equipment will be offered based on different versions, including various types of rims, chrome-plated door handles, front radars, side air bags and curtain air bags, etc. Powering the EXEED TX will be a SQRF4J16 1.6L turbocharged engine that can generate a maximum power of 197hp (around 145kW).
