Shanghai, May 18 (Gasgoo.com) Beiqi Foton Motor Co Ltd announced today it had won a US$16.8 million contract with Ashok Leyland Ltd., India's second biggest bus and truck maker, to supply buses in completely knocked down kit form, China Securities Journal reported.
According to contact, Foton will export 750 units of Foton Euro V buses to Ashok Leyland within a period of 150 days.
Beiqi Foton Motor Co., a commercial vehicle subsidiary of Beijing Automobile Works, said the deal will help the company expand further in overseas market.
