GAC R&D Center, Neusoft REACH to co-build SDV-focused innovation center
Shanghai (Gasgoo)- GAC R&D Center on November 24 inked an agreement with Neusoft REACH, a Sino-Japanese joint venture focusing on developing ADAS and V2X technologies, to cooperate on R&D of automotive cutting-edge technologies based on the SDV (software defined vehicles) concept, according to GAC Group.
At the signing ceremony, both parties also announced the establishment of a joint innovation hub where the SDV cooperation will be carried out.
Through the newly-unveiled innovation center, both parties would jointly research and develop cutting-edge technologies based on the idea of SDV, carrying out a stable long-term collaboration in new technologies about basic software, connectivity and new energy vehicles, according to the agreement.
Besides, they would jointly work on researching technical planning, setting up standards, applying for projects and training personnel.
As the pivot to GAC Group's R&D system, GAC R&D Center is committed to developing technologies related to auto electrification, intelligent connectivity as well as digital solutions. Neusoft REACH is a subsidiary of Neusoft Corporation, specializing in providing platforms and key technologies for next generation vehicles.
