NSK China completes headquarters, R&D center in Suzhou

Shanghai, October 19 (Gasgoo.com) Japanese bearing manufacturer NSK has completed the construction of its China headquarters in Suzhou and begun operation at its China research and development (R&D) center on October, 12, Xinhua news agency reported.

The headquarters, based in the Suzhou Huaqiao Economic Development Zone, involve a total investment of over US$100 million and is expected to realize 7 billion yuan in revenue in 2011.

The China R&D center, NSK's largest technical center outside Japan, will carry out R&D in machine bearings, auto parts and precision machinery products and provide related technical services.

NSK currently opens 9 plants in China, manufacturing a wide and varied product lineup that includes bearings and automotive components. NSK also has 10 sales branches across China and Hong Kong, and holds the No.1 share of the Chinese market among all bearing manufacturers.
