
China's Traffic Control Bureau released recently nine measures to better manage autos and supervise drivers, according to China Securities Journal Friday.
Some of the new measures are as follows:
Vehicle-managing stations and auto safety inspections as well as testing institutions will have to interconnect their networks so as to achieve a timely and automatic monitoring and transferring of data.
Examination centers and driving instructors should be stricter to trainees and strengthen driving tests.
Cross-regional services and inspections should also be improved and informationized so as to strengthen ability in dealing with accidents.
Auto buyers will be able to register and receive vehicle licenses at car dealers themselves when buying a car.
The number of motor vehicles owned by Chinese citizens is of 199 million according to this year's figure, 85 million of which are cars.
