Gasgoo.com (Shanghai December 21) - Shanghai GM submitted a recall order for 9,862 imported Cadillac SRX SUVs today, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine said today. The recall targets 2011 model year SRXs manufactured from early February to late June of this year.
The recall is being issued due to a flaw in the SRX's (pictured) gearbox, which may malfunction when switching gears. Under extreme circumstances the SRX might not be able to start up or be driven properly.
Shanghai GM will conduct free inspection and gearbox replacement for all affected vehicles.
