Gasgoo Munich- Lu Tian, general manager of BYD's Dynasty sales division, revealed additional details on the new flagship sedan "Da Han." Positioned for the D-segment luxury market, the car is the Dynasty series' first sedan to target this niche, internally codenamed "Series 9."

Newly released data shows the Da Han measures 5,256 mm long, 1,999 mm wide, and 1,510 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 3,130 mm. On performance, the all-wheel-drive variant sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds, topping out at 270 km/h. For range, the pure electric version can travel up to 1,008 kilometers on a single charge under CLTC conditions.
Design-wise, the Da Han adopts the latest "Dragon Face" family language. The front end maintains a low stance, with slim headlights stretching into a continuous light bar, flanked by narrow air intakes for a composed aesthetic. The profile features a fastback roofline and tapered waistlines, accented by flush door handles and black sport wheels, while the rear adopts a minimalist, wide-body layout with taillights expected to span the full width.
Under the hood, the model will offer plug-in hybrid and pure electric variants, equipped with second-generation Blade batteries and flash-charging technology. The EV lineup splits into two trims: an all-wheel-drive flagship with LiDAR and 800 km of range, and a rear-wheel-drive premium edition with LiDAR and 1,008 km of range. On intelligent driving, the Da Han is expected to feature the "God's Eye" B LiDAR system and the God's Eye 5.0 solution.
Lu Tian previously released official images of the vehicle on social media on June 8. With key specifications now coming to light, further technical details and configuration information on the Da Han are expected to follow.
